1. Sissy: What town are you going to?
    2. Me: Grand Forks.
    3. Sissy: Is that the town Twilight is in?
    4. Me: Hahaha. You're a dumb ass.
    5. Sissy: They're the same thing!
    6. Me: Hell no they are not!

Although the flood washed away much of the Missouri River bottoms last year, Papa’s Pumpkin Patch refused to drown.

Because of the flood, operations were moved to Mandan last year, but due to cooperative weather this year the patch was able to return home, where it has been for 30 years.

I don’t know about you, but I love fall, and I love pumpkins, and I love sweaters. I’m a little freaked out by the kid who is apparently psyched to be buried up to the chin in candy corn, though.

An impromptu and end of summer century ride in Grand Forks, ND. A century ride is ~100 miles of bicycle riding in a single day. The event starts at 9 am. We will do approximately 3.5 loops of  a combined Greenway & road segment. This will allow people to do 1/3 or 2/3 options or easily opt out if you get tired. The ride stays within Grand Forks and East Grand Forks and offers a great scenic tour of the river, open fields and golf course. This ride is free and open to anyone. This ride is un-supported and you are responsible for your own health and well being including food and water. There are a handful of parks along the route to re-water, and amazing grains food co-op will be open to buy food. We will be taking donations ~$5 or less to cover printing of maps with a possibility of some token of our appreciation.

This year we will all be ending at the Co-Op Garden’s potluck which is right down the road! So bring your favorite beverage and/or something to contribute for a post ride meal, hanging out in the garden.
