1. Mouse River Rollers Recruiting!

    cirk-urk:

The Mouse River Rollers, Minot’s only local roller derby league, are recruiting for our 2013 season! We’ve got a full season of games coming out, and would love to see people come out to learn to skate and play with us this season. Come check out our recruitment on January 13, 15 or 20th, try on some gear (first come, first serve), see a demonstration of flat track roller derby, and ask any questions!

Derby is a great way to lose weight, make friends in Minot, and to get active! We’re looking for female skaters and male or female refs!  Check out the event for more info! I can answer any questions you have!

You know you are in North Dakota when your dad asks you if you have any music that is more Caucasian.

The thing about winter on campus is that you can’t laugh at people who slip on ice or slush because it’s just going to happen to you right after.

  4. Shopping for Jewish food in Fargo, ND

    1. Me: Excuse me do you have a Jewish/Kosher section? I see Mexican, Italian, and Asian food there, but no Jewish section
    2. Store Clerk: I don't think we do. Is there anything specific you are looking for?
    3. Me: Matzo ball mix. It's, uh, like a cracker that's made into a mix that you make into a soup.
    4. Store Clerk: Well I can show you to our cracker aisle.
    5. Store Clerk:
    6. Store Clerk: Wow that really sounded wrong.

A little peak at what Adam Kemp is working on at our gallery. His installation is coming along, but you’ll have to wait to see it all!
